PhD Student, Earth Science and Engineering

PhD Student

PhD student in the Department of Earth Science and Engineering and the Dyson School of Design Engineering at Imperial College London, supervised by Dr Michel-Alexandre Cardin and Professor Jan Cilliers. His interdisciplinary research at the Strategic Engineering Laboratory focuses on lunar resource utilisation systems, specifically the design of lunar resource production plants and their deployment strategies under uncertain parameters in the lunar environment (for example the particle sizes of the lunar soil and resource availability) and in the economy (for example liquid oxygen demand on the Moon). Before coming to Imperial, he obtained an MSc in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Michigan (2022) and an MEng in Engineering Sciences and Design from Tokyo Institute of Technology, now Institute of Science Tokyo (2020).
